Faith Prince to Make Provincetown Debut, 7/26 & 27

Faith Prince is a Tony Award winner for the acclaimed revival of Guys and Dolls, a Tony nominee for Bells are Ringing and A Catered Affair, a featured star of The Little Mermaid, and a regular on Lifetime TV's hit series Drop Dead Diva, in the role of Brooke Elliott's mother, Elaine. For her performance as Ms. Adelaide in the critically acclaimed revival of Guys and Dolls, Faith Prince swept the theater awards, winning not only the Tony, but the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards as well for her performance. In 2008, she was nominated for Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for A Catered Affair. Her other Broadway performances include The Little Mermaid, Bells Are Ringing (Tony and Drama Desk award nominations), Nick & Nora, Jerome Robbins' Broadway, Little Me, The Dead, and Noises Off. She also starred in the world premiere of Terrence McNally's Unusual Acts of Devotion. More recently garnered rave reviews starring in the Broadway National Tour of Billy Elliot.

In addition to her award-winning theater career, and her current role on Lifetime TV's Drop Dead Diva, other guest starring television roles this year have included A Gifted Man, CSI, Medium, and Ugly Betty. She was a series regular on Showtime's Huff starring as "Kelly Knipers," the lovable and quirky love interest of Oliver Platt, and appeared for five seasons on Spin City. Other television credits include the self-titled series Faith, Sweet Potato Queens, Grey's Anatomy, House, Monk, Now and Again, Welcome To New York, and Law and Order. Film credits include: Our Very Own with Allison Janney and Cheryl Hines, Picture Perfect, Dave, and My Father the Hero.

In concert, Faith Prince has been a Guest Artist with The Boston Pops, the Utah Symphony, the Cincinnati Pops, The Orlando and Sacramento Philharmonic, The Philly Pops, and The San Francisco Symphony, among others. She has also toured her one woman show Moving On in Australia to rave reviews. A live recording of her award-winning show entitled A Leap Of Faith was recorded at Joe's Pub in New York, and is available on DRG records. She has a soon to be released CD titled Total Faith: Live at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. The Art House is thrilled to welcome this award-winning Broadway star to The Art House on July 26th and 27th!
