Cape Rep Theatre presents the regional premiere of Avenue Q., the 2004 Triple Crown Tony Winner for Best Musical, Best Book and Best Score with Music and Lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and Book by Jeff Whitty. Avenue Q is about the search for one's purpose in life. It's funny and irreverent, full of energy and charm and is fearless at addressing political correctness. The Director and Choreographer of Avenue Q is Kristin McLaughlin, Assistant Director to Stanley Tucci in the Broadway revival of Lend Me A Tenor. The Puppetry Coach is Aymee Garcia, a member of the original cast of Avenue Q and now puppetry coach for the New York production. The musical director of Avenue Q is Scott Storr, set design by Ryan McGettigan, Costume Design by Robin McLaughlin, Lighting Design by Herrick Goldman, Prop Design by Mary Fritz. Stage Managed by Heather Lannen. The cast features Morgan West, Jessica Albon, Kako Kitano, Darlene Van Alstyne, Andrew Ford, Jared Hagan and Holly Erin McCarthy.

Avenue Q runs November 3rd through December 4th in Cape Rep Indoor Theatre on Rte. 6A in Brewster, MA : Wednesdays at 7 pm, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm. Cape Rep Theatre, now in its 26th season, produces theatre year round in 3 different venues in Nickerson State Park on Route 6A in Brewster, MA. The indoor theatre season opened with The Beauty Queen of Leenane, followed by Circle Mirror Transformation, the Regional Premiere of the Broadway musical Xanadu, and the World Premiere of a ghost story by Maura Hanlon, Good Bye Mary Rose. Avenue Q is the final show of the 2011 Indoor Theatre Season. The indoor theatre also hosted special musical events including Mama and Her Boys, Trish LaRose is BULLETPROOF, the popular annual benefit musical revue All Our Best, and Sarcastic, Sentimental, Bitchy and Sweet: The Words and Music of Noel Coward. Popular outdoor programming in Cape Cod's only outdoor theatre included the annual favorite Mary Wilson's Pitter Patter Puppets and Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type - A Musical. In addition Cape Rep recently presented the first annual Winter Series in The 45 seat Community Room in the newly renovated Cape House. 2011 also marked the 17th annual Broadway Musical Dinner Revue, a co-production with the Sea Pines Inn.
