West Side Story Auditions in Plantation, FL

Broward on Broadway Theater will be holding open auditions for West Side Story in the Ira Kinder Theater at Plantation High School. Vocal auditions will be held on Monday, August 25, 2008, from 6:00-9:00 PM. Dance auditions will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2008, and will begin promptly at 6:30. If needed, callbacks will be Wednesday, August 27, 2008.

Performance dates are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from October 24 – November 16. Please check for conflicts before auditioning.

Be prepared to sing 32 bars of an up-tempo song or ballad. You may bring sheet music (preferably with chord charts) or CD accompaniment. CD accompaniment must not contain vocals. No a cappella. There will also be a cold reading (sides will be provided). Please bring headshot and resume if you have them.
