SPRING AWAKENING composer Duncan Sheik will perform in concert in New York City May 15. His song list will include some of his musical theatre work.
Metropolitan Talent presents the one-night gig, which will play the Concert Hall at the New York Society for Ethical Culture (located at 2 West 64th Street at Central Park West) at 8 PM. Doors open at 7 PM. Tickets ($35) are available through ticketmaster.
According to the artist's website, "Upcoming shows will include songs from Duncan's prior records in addition to selections from his theatrical work including SPRING AWAKENING, NERO and THE NIGHTINGALE.

No word on whether members of the cast will join him onstage for the concert, which lands on a dark night for the Broadway show.

I got a ticket for the "Opening night" in SF on 4/25 and I hope it wont get canceled like the one in L.A.
