There's too much info to recite, so just read it. They're releasing a CD/DVD combo to celebrate the Mamma Mia 5th Anniversary. It's out on October 17 and contains the London recording (with bonus tracks), a booklet of the different Donna's around the world, and a backstage DVD hosted by Tina Maddigan and Joe Machota.
"The bonus special edition DVD will also feature a behind the scenes documentary telling the story of Mamma Mia! so far, hosted by original Broadway cast members Joe Machota and Tina Maddigan, who return to the Cadillac Winter Garden Theatre to reminisce about originating the roles of Sky and Sophie. The bonus feature also includes Broadway and West End opening night footage, interviews with Mamma Mia! producer Judy Craymer, director Phyllida Lloyd, librettist Catherine Johnson and original ABBA band members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.
In addition to ABBA concert clips and performance footage of different productions of Mamma Mia! from around the world (in English, German, Dutch, Korean, Spanish and Flemish), two separate bonus features on the DVD include video clips of the West End cast performing “Money, Money, Money” and “Dancing Queen.”
I was waiting for this to be officially announced. I couldn't be happier! The OBC Sky and Sophie reunited again. You wanna talk chemistry??
"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer
"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher
