I went yesterday with my daughter and mom. My mom has always wanted to go, and since my daughter sings and acts and loves shows we thought it would be fun. It was awesome. And Ben Platt hosted, he was hilarious! Curious if anyone else went. The talent was amazing.

I don't know Songs for a New World, but I find it a bit surprising that they gave the Best Actress award to someone in a song cycle, as opposed to a book musical...
