I still don't think this is the big thing that will make Congress and his supporters pay any real attention. However, I'm becoming more confident that there is such a big thing coming down the pike.

I am truly amazed though. Had Obama or Hillary (had the popular vote won0 had pulled half the **** this fncking moron has. The GOP would be proudly parading their heads on pikes through every small town and village!

Yes, and well they should have.  This was a disaster.  And if Trump gets away with this, he can get away with anything.

Not because he didn't have the right to instantaneously declassify information at will.  He does.
Not because he put out McMaster to techically parse words.  Because that's all that was.

But because Trump has put the intel community and our assets in potential danger and has put the future of cooperation between the intel community and any other source, and with that our national security, in critical jeopardy.

It's the recklessness of what he did that is the issue.  Whether or not he has the authority to leak classified information in this matter is not the issue.  There is nothing that indicates he even KNEW he was doing it at the time.  THAT'S the real issue at hand.  His reckless temperament and behavior coupled with his complete ignorance of security, protocol and law will lead to disaster.  This idiot is literally endangering the country every time he speaks.

If Trump DID NOT know he was releasing highly classified information, we are in trouble.  If Trump DID know he was releasing highly classified information, we are in trouble.  Either way, we are in trouble.

Multiple sources are reporting that Comey kept notes of when Trump asked him to stop the investigation into Flynn the day after Flynn resigned.  Several attorneys in the office are suggesting that Trump's meddling was obstruction of justice which is an impeachable offense.  It would appear that Mr President's goose is cooked.

This is the part that really makes my heart sink. The life of the brave Israeli spy placed in ISIS is/was jeopardized, alongside damaging trust with our biggest ally in the Middle East, not to mention damage done to global intel networks in general when trust is the most important currency. The ripple effect from Trump's grandstanding can be horrifying. I'd expect terrorist attacks to increase just because past allies no longer trust the United States enough to share such information. Thank you, Trump voters: If you wanted more war and more soldiers and civilians dying, you may very well get your wish.
