As the year is drawing to a close, thought I'd share my personal musical theatre favourites of 2016. I've seen a hell of a lot of fantastic shows and performances this year so there are many more that could be mentioned but decided to limit it to the top 5. As always, these are personal favourites rather than claiming that they are necessarily the "best" - just the shows and performances that wowed me the most. (Ans, of course, are drawn from the shows I have actually seen during 2016 so there will be other great stuff that I may not have gotten to see.) Would be interesting to see other people's favourites.
