Any one heard that this might not be coming in this year.  A friend at the management office of "The Crucible" said that production was going to play the Walter Kerr, which had been rumored to be the home for "Falsettos."

I haven't heard anything, but they would be wise to put it in a smaller theater.  It's not a big show and the production would get swallowed up in one of the larger theaters.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Any other theories on where both of these shows could go? Maybe Jersey Boys or Chicago will leave...

Although Falsettos is a Jujamcyn production, does it have to go into a Jujacmyn-owned house?

I don't think it would have to, but being that Jordan Roth was the on who really got this off the ground, you think he'd want it in one of the family's theaters.

I must say that I think the Kerr would be the right sized venue for this.

Did I miss something? Did GENTLEMEN'S GUIDE announce closing? Or is it closing conjecture at this point?

Looks like you might be right...

My only thing is that the backstage at the Kerr is TIGHT. Gentleman's Guide is pretty squished back there and Crucible has a fairly large cast.

However, which GM office is handling "The Crucible"? I can't remember exactly at the moment, but if it's who I think it is, you may be exactly right.

Between this and The Crucible, I will be spending a lot of time at the Kerr in 2016!
