Anyone still watching this?  I'm biased towards the stage style of dancing, but I love that little Yaya, or whatever her name is.

I'm watching. I remember YaYa from the auditions last year.  There is also Virgil who is from the Broadway production of After Midnight.  My favorites are the tapper (can't think of her name), and Darion (ballet).

I'm still watching too. It seems to be getting better but it's taking too long. I miss the All Stars as well as Mary and her annoying tamale train.

The choreography needs work and some of the costumes this season have been horrible. Best dances tonight were Jaja/Jim and Megz/Virgil.

Why must they persist with the Bollywood routines? Yikes.

Double Yikes to Ray Leeper's Jazz routine tonight.  The rehearsal looked promising but those outfits with the white keds all to Michael Buble? No. Just plain no!

I'm watching too, but am not a fan of this new (for no reason) format. It's confusing, and I miss the lowest vote getters having a chance to dance for their lives.

I am not sure why they are separating the dancers and pitting the two VERY general styles against each other, but not. In the end, they are only competing against their own "style", since one from each leaves each week and one of each will win. The whole premise seems forced and unnecessary.

Is it my imagination, but wasn't it already announced that this was their last season? Pretty disingenuous to say to those who didn't make it to "try out next year"! I imagine, perhaps, they weren't sure it was their last season at that time?

I LOVE the Bollywood numbers! Some don't work as well as others, but they are always fascinating and challenging to the dancers. But I do agree about that jazz routine...pretty bad.

Oh, and I don't like so many trios and foursomes.

Doodle,

I didn't realize this is the last season, but after last night, I'm more or less done with this show.  The way the judges and team captain (Travis) not so subtly telegraphed that they wanted Darion off the show absolutely frustrated me.  The choreography that trio was saddled with last night didn't do them any favors (especially Darion).

Don't hold me to that, Dottie. I may have dreamed it.

Ray Leeper needs a time out for that routine. I didn't get the telegraphing, may have been looking away or cleaning up, but it is their job to agree on who's going after the audience vote. He didnt seems surprised, though.

I was very surprised the Israeli guy with the bad attitude wasn't in the bottom three!

Although Asaf has been called out on his bad attitude, I see TPTB have coddled him as well. A couple of forums I've been reading don't even understand why Asaf is even on.  Some have called him Paula's Boy Toy.

Re: Darion's number, Travis started the negativity towards him in rehearsal.  I'm not sure what was edited out, but when Asaf was struggling we saw Twitch talking to him, whereas when Darion struggled, Travis was just plain negative.

Of all the other guys to replace the one who was injured, they chose the one who is shirtless most of the time. How surprising! SYTYCD - Stage vs Street

I didn't really catch that from Travis, probably because they were an early team and I assumed many would be called out.

Asaf wanting to do his own choreography was just too much. He's going to continue to be an ahole.
