It has been announced that the London production of The 39 Steps is to close in September after 9 years at The Criterion Theatre.

I agree with Sondhiem70 I think this is the perfect theatre for AGGTLAM. It would be a crime not to transfer the show into this theatre.

Are you sure? I've not see Gentlemen's guide but I do know the Criterion. It has no wing space, no fly space and no orchestra pit. It's really a house for plays, preferably a play with a very simple or fixed set.

I'm sorry it's closing, it's really a lovely show.
The Criterion is a lovely venue, it totally looks like a wedding cake to me! The only problem is that you can hear every single subway car that passes there around.
