We're pleased to announce that LUCKY STIFF opens July 24 at the AMC Theatres on 42nd Street and will be available On-Demand starting July 28 from The Orchard on fine cable systems everywhere. Get ready to laugh and sing!

Are any of you planning on seeing this? I thought I might rent it on demand like I did The Last 5 Years (which was only $7.99 i believe, so similar to seeing it in the theater) but renting Lucky Stiff is $12.99 for HD which seems pretty expensive for a movie getting lackluster reviews.

Ahrens and Flaherty deserve to have their work more well-known to the general public. I hope this film defies the odds and finds success- even if it's at the cult level!

I just checked iTunes, and it's $4.99 to rent and $12.99 to buy. (both HD)

Thanks for that info, jpbran; no clue why it's so expensive on Comcast. I might look into for only five bucks.

If this film achieves cult status, it won't be for the reasons you're hoping.
