Just curious. Why haven't we seen Herdlicka on Broadway since ALNM? I thought he was fantastic as 'Henrik'. I also thoroughly enjoyed Ramona's portrayal as 'Anne'.
He works quite a bit regionally and sings in cabarets and things often. I personally don't think he's a terribly engaging or noteworthy actor, and thought his performance in Night Music was decidedly a very weak link (along with Mallory).

I worked with Hunter and he is a terrific colleague (and he goes by Hunter -- like many actors, he simply uses his middle name professionally). Very few people graduate college on a Friday and sign a production contract the next week; he got very lucky that his first job out of school was a major role in a prestigious Broadway revival.
As Kad already mentioned, he works quite frequently. His career is following the trajectory of many young actors who primarily work in theater -- regional gigs, cabaret, workshops, concerts.
He is also a performer of a more classic musical theatre sound in a time in which new musicals are moving away from that- hence why the young performers from the original cast Spring Awakening are finding quite a bit of work in new shows.

Wasn't he close to Elaine Stritch, serving as a friend & assistant in her final years? It wouldn't surprise me if he had relocated for a period to Detroit for Stritchie's final run.
