Today is Thursday, May 28, marking the official opening night performance of AN ACT OF GOD at Studio 54, and inevitably, the return of Jim Parsons to the Broadway stage!
My friends, this is the FIRST show of the 2015-16 Broadway season! So, hey, let's get it started with a ... big bang!

Isherwood's review in the Times is an all out, pedal to the metal rave. He describes the writer, David Javerbaum, as John Stewart funny plus Steven Cobert funny. Andthis is more than fluff, it's got some real depth.

I am as perplexed about Isherwood's review as I was about Brantley's Honeymoon In Vegas.

So Ethel Mae, what did you think of the show? We can only assume that you are so perplexed because his opinion is vastly different than yours. Of course, if by some chance you haven't seen it, then I guess we are the ones who should be perplexed by your implicit thoughts about a show you haven't seen.

No, I didn't care for An Act of God and no, I didn't care for Honeymoon In Vegas.

Ethel Mae, fair enough. Obviously we had no way of knowing whether or not you had seen the show based on your post (other than having read the other thread and having a photographic memory about what you had posted.)
