Sure, Disney World is basically the leading name in Orlando-based theme park entertainment, but you know what they don’t have? An overabundance of magic users running around and causing mischief. Seriously, how’s a House of Mouse supposed to compete with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter over at Universal Studios?
With their own team of witches, of course — the best team there ever was.
Disney Well, okay, maybe not the BEST, but admit it: you LOVE “Hocus Pocus,” because it’s basically the most amazing Halloween movie of all time. And now you have the chance to watch it live, because the Sanderson Sisters are stepping off the big screen and into wonderful reality during Disney’s Halloween season this year.
Called the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” the show will feature Winifred, Mary and Sarah Sanderson teaming up with other iconic Disney ne’er-do-wells (The concept art shows Maleficent, Cruelle De Vil, Jafar, and a lot more) to “cast a spell” over all of the Magic Kingdom. It will premiere exclusively during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and run on select nights between September 15 and November 1 of this year.
Don't get your hopes up too much. They do that same exact show every Halloween but add a new "host" every year. One year the host was Maleficent, then Dr. Facilier, now apparently it's our witches from Hocus Pocus. Every year so far they just have plugged in the new host, give them a short intro, and then the host is just a background character the rest of the show. I doubt they'll change the format this year.

This will be a complete new show. It will still be in the 10-15 min range, but it will be a new format than previous years.
