based on a recently posted Equity notice, the production will play Chicago this winter with a possible Broadway transfer. Anyone have any more info?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
this is the first I've seen or heard of this anywhere. I guess they've kept it pretty quiet.

Broadway in Chicago trumped it up quite a bit when it was announced. They have definitely been marketing it as Broadway-bound from that first announcement.
And as noted, Jerry Mitchell has On Your Feet already as well. In fact, Kinky Boots, On Your Feet, and Gotta Dance all had or will have their out-of-towns in Chicago.
Listen, there are so many damn people in that creative team its hard to keep track! haha And I did know they had intensions of bringing it to Broadway!!

Not that I am defending Phillypinto, but let's be honest - when you have a creative team like that (Mitchell, Bob Martin, Hamlisch, and Nell Benjamin to name a few) who doesn't expect them to think about bringing it to Broadway?
I know right! "Gotta Dance features a book by Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (Aladdin) and Tony Award winner Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone), original music by Tony Award nominee Matthew Sklar (Elf) and the late Tony and Oscar winner Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde).
I wonder how they are gonna do all the basketball stuff on stage. Im excited :)
