Saw the show Friday night. Have not laughed so much in the theater in a long time. Lisa Howard stops the show!!!. Long time since I have seen an audience laugh and scream and clap like last night . Great show with a great cast. Just goes to show that you can't believe what your read and what other people think. Will be going back soon with friends !

Or, it goes to show you:

Shows can improve during previews

And

People have different opinions.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Saw the show on Wednesday and LOVED everything...except the music. It's forgettable, and not very good to begin with. The only song I remember the one Lisa Howard sings with her former best friend which features the most adorable lyric:  "I was the Tzietel to your Motel!" It should also be noted that I hate going into shows not knowing the music, so for that reason, I hope it records so maybe it'll grow on me.

Otherwise, it is a well acted, super funny, fluffy show.

I was in the last row of the mezz and the rear mezz had me and maybe 40 other people...and David Hyde Pierce taking notes two rows in front of me.
