"Craig Zadan, who, with his business partner Neil Meron, produced the past three Academy Awards telecasts, will not return for next year's Oscars, according to Deadline Hollywood."
Can you blame them? Producing and hosting the Oscars is a thankless task. However, wouldn't you LOVE to see Dame Edna host next year? I think it would be amazing... Too bad she's signing off with this year's farewell tour (but maybe she'll pull a Cher). I would love to see her rip into A-List Hollywood!!

^ Edna's just giving up touring - it's not a final farewell, just a goodbye to the road. "It doesn't mean I'll disappear...I might do television things" she said in her recent NPR interview, so you never know. I'd love to see it happen!

I'm kind of glad they're bowing out as producers. I was underwhelmed with the ceremonies these past three years.
They seemed like out-of-touch Tony Awards broadcasts, rather than Oscar telecasts, more awkward than entertaining.
