Listening to that well-meaning opening number only confirms my fear that this is a little show which is going to disappear despite gathering a small band of devoted followers.
I actually loved the video of the opening number! With a Goodall score and the presence of Lauren Samuels and Preeya Kalidas in the cast, this is the show I am most eagerly looking forward to of all the new shows/productions scheduled for the West End this year.

Wow. The energy of those "dancers" was absolutely shocking!
I'm so disappointed. It seems to be that the UK keep throwing out half assed material and wondering why it's failing! where is the clarity and precision nowadays
It is poorly shot (which is surprising given that it is being directed on stage by the screen director). The cast seem ill-at-ease with the structure and format and the song is instantly forgettable.
I had high hopes for this show, as it has been in development for some time and with the original creator at the heart of the process, and the music of the fabulous Howard Goodall, it deserves to be a hit.
I met a while back with Gurinder Chadha and was impressed with the talk she talked about adapting her film to stage.
But I will reserve judgement and hope that the show is better as a whole than what has been released into the market place as a promo.
