Alright, showoff, I think we all know that Iranians are mostly of Persian ancestry and not Arabs. So, you probably also know that, rightly or wrongly, when Americans refer to the region - "the Middle East", "the Arab World", "the Arabs" etc. - they're basically referring to every single country in the region except for Israel. Is it wildly inaccurate? Well, yes, but so is saying you're waiting "on" line instead of "in" line. But every time I visit NY I'm not going to ask NYers "Are you really waiting ON TOP OF the line?" Because, I know and - grudgingly - accept that that's the way they speak.
