Broadway Playbill Opening Day Question

Hi. I have a question about the opening date playbill for the broadway play, "High Society." I have recently purchased two playbills that have "April 27, 1998"on the top of cast list. One is the April 1998 issue of Playbill and the other is the May 1998 issue of Playbill. Why was the opening date printed on both months and is the April 1998 issue the real opening playbill of this play?
