think the 6 she has released with the pre order are a mixed bag, but im guessing she has released those for now as most of them (minus Ghost Town) were in the leaks. It sounds like the album was supposed to be 13 tracks, the 6 released now are taking it up to 19 (the rest of the album wont be heard until March)

Living For Love i think is a really great 90s house throwback, it sounds fresh and fun and she seems to be having fun, the vocal is very good (though i preferred the vocal on the demo as he voice was more stripped back), looks like this is the first single

Devil Pray has changed a bit since the demo but i still think its brilliant, i can see the American Life comparison i guess (and i aint the biggest fan of that album) but to me this is a stand out. Love the vibe of this song

Ghosttown -i really like this, gorgeous song, not as strong as say Heartbreak City or Joan of Arc (still hoping they have made it on to the album) but it has something pretty stunning about it,. Fans seem to be loving this one

Unapologetic Bitch is pretty close to the demo , very reggae/dancehall sounding, did not like this on the demo but i have to say its growing on me. I have to disagree about her not sounding convincing with this type of music (as someone mentioned in another thread), i was kinda shocked she sounded as comfortable as she did, it blends nicely. Bitch I'm Madonna - hated the demo, still hate it, feels like she is trying way too hard on this one to be young and hip, a shame as so many of the demo's were better than this but i had a feeling it would end up on the album, oh well, always a couple on each of her albums i aint a fan of, a lot of the younger fans on forums are picking this a stand out though.

Illuminati - Some are saying they preferred the demo, it was much more of a dance song, i kinda found it generic. I prefer this version to be honest, feels a bit darker, i wrote on the other thread it wasn't a stand out, more im listening though, i think it is. Something about it.

I think she has made a smart choice by releasing final versions of the leaked songs now, but i just wanna hear the rest of the damn album. I am hoping its more Devil Pray, Living for Love and Ghost Town than Bitch im Madonna, im sure it will be, if it is, im excited, very excited. Fans seem to be respoding pretty well and saying its an improvement over MDNA (An album i still really like minus a couple of tracks)

Couple of other things
Oh and she is touring next year, Living for Love is not available as a download like the others here in the UK, they are releasing it separate tomorrow as a single. With MDNA when she gave GMAYL away when you pre ordered the album the song was not allowed to chart so missed the top 40.

The only other confirmed song on the album is Joan or Arc, they aint released the titles of the other songs

The production is quite stellar from the demos and they all feel hit-worthy.
Plus people seem to forget she dabbled with reggae throughout her career- last time was during 92' Erotica- 'Why's it so hard'... and some others... so it's totally ok. it's not new territory for her. Unapologetic Bitch is quite fun. Dark and groovy. Great car ride sing-along tracks so far.....

i think you hit a valid point. we tend to underestimate that Madonna also spans a number of generations in fans. so what may seem to be 'silly sounding' for the older fans... sounds new and fun for the younger fans. it's an interesting wide gap of people to please. and i think this album hits it. you can't listen to Living for Love without thinking of it as a follow up to Like a Prayer or Rescue Me. it just seems great for all her fans. no matter when they jumped in the madonna train in the past 30 years.

I like the official versions. I don't like them as much as the others, though. It's like on Project Runway when Nina tells the model to take off that weird coat and then the jewelry and let her hair down and says "Now THAT'S better". I feel like comparing the two, Madonna doesn't like to "edit" and just adds and adds things on top of something that's already pretty great.

For the first time in a long time, I love every new song she's released. I know it's only 6 - of the NINETEEN tracks - but this is so great!

Devil Pray & Ghosttown are my two faves.

So far Madonna has gone to number 1 in around 36 countries with the songs released yesterday, 20 of them are with the song Living for Love. In nearly every country the 6 songs were released she had all 6 songs inside the top 10 on the ITunes chart. The album has also started to chart now on iTunes pre orders (remember it doesn't actually come out till March) with number 1s already in around 10 countries (including the US) and top 10 everywhere else. With 3 months of ore orders to come it looks like the album should hit the top spot everywhere when it's officially released in March.

I don't listen to leaks or snippets on iTunes and I sure as crap ain't paying money for songs that are only being released because of an experience Madonna described as being "like rape." I'll wait for the full album because I am more of an album person anyway and I will stream it the day it comes out. Even with performers and their product I no longer have much use for, I prefer not to be part of the theft chain.

I was unclear the way I wrote it above. I also meant I sure as crap am not shelling out money to Madonna. She got plenty of my money from the first 12" through the gad awful Abba sample. And that is it.

I'll stream the full album on Beats when it is released.

God you really do get hung up on the most stupid of things, so the fact she felt like it was 'artistic rape' is gonna be your big thing now? thats the new thing to beat her with? I have heard you say far worse for far less on this board alone, so please don't play the moral compass of all that is good and right now, it don't suit you.

Also her new single is on You Tube, on her channel, it ain't theft if you play it dear, the other 5 songs are on there as well. However it's probably best you don't listen, lets be honest nothing is going to satisfy you what she does, you are way to deep in to the Madonna hating thing. I have to give Jordan props, i totally underestimated him, he's had his digs a lot, but when he gave the new music a chance he gave her props, something Namo you just wont ever be able to do.

No, I don't want to beat up on her for it. I just feel like a forceable release is not something I am comfortable encouraging.

ALL the links you posted on YouTube the other day were taken down for copyright violation by the time I clicked on them. Sorry, there is only so much work I am willing to do for an artist I have moved on from.

Fact is, I wouldn't have written a thing but HorseTears asked what I thought of the songs and I answered honestly. I will stream the full album when it is released. I'm not a fan of partials or excerpts (take the 500 different Into the Woods clips that have revealed all the great punchlines, please), and yup, that's my problem.

PS I think you must have realized long before this that many of the things you probably visit daily because you're still so excited about Madonna, her YouTube channel, the various boards where fans post messages and where Lady Gaga fans used to upset you so, are not things that are in my realm of consciousness. I don't go to her website, I never subscribed to Icon. I know this is all real important stuff to you but it's not my thing. Again, I realize this is my problem not yours.

I'm not a fan of leaks or illegal streaming either. And I don't do iTunes either. So I waited until today when the songs are available for streaming/download on other music sites without having to pre order the entire album.
I haven't heard them all yet but so far I'm living for Living For Love, Ghosttown, and Devil Pray.
