Also in the cast are two former "Chicago" cast members: Michael Cusumano and Nathan Madden. Awesome! An American In Paris
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
I hope this turns out well and runs for a while. What a marvelous Spring it would be if I got to see On the Town, American in Paris and King & I in the same week. Bernstein, Gershwin, R&H. Heaven.
Nothing can replace the original movie so I will take a pass on this one also. Broadway usually screws up when they try taking a classic MGM musical and doing their take on it.
