Are there tickets set aside fore all the preview performances for the show? or if the show is sold out does that mean there are no rush tickets? I don't want to wait for no reason.
But be aware that it's only STUDENT rush. And I got to the box office yesterday right before 11 and bought the last rush ticket for the evening. At that time they only had 2 left for the matinee. So for the best chances I would defeat not getting there any later than 10:30.
Planning on getting there around 6:30..... Was yours standing room only? I know they have given those out too. If that is an option i don't want to stand. The day I'm going it is supposed to be sold out so hopefully the rush tickets are already put aside. How was it?
I don't think there is any need to get up that early. My seat for last night was in the second row on the very end. It was partly obstructed but not terrible. I only missed about 30 seconds total action in act 1. The couple next to me ended up moving themselves to center Orch. so I was able to scoot over to a full view seat for act 2. I had a great time! I thought it was hilarious, especially for theatre buffs, because there are a lot of inside jokes that theatre people will get. I will post my complete thoughts on the preview thread soon. It is well worth the rush price just to see this amazing cast (minus Stockard)!
