Just booked for THE RETURN OF THE SOLDIER, a new chamber musical by Charles Miller and Tim Sanders, at the Jermyn Street Theatre. I loved Charles Miller's "When Midnight Strikes" at The Finborough a few years ago and love the songs on Julie Atherton's solo album of his songs, "A Girl Of few Words".
The cast for this show is amazing - pretty much a West End star cast: Stewart Clarke (Godspell, Ghost, Loserville) Michael Matus (Lend Me A Tenor, The Baker's Wife, Martin Guerre) Zoey Rainey (Wicked, Hairspray) newcomer Charlie Langham and the astonishing Laura Pitt-Pulford (Marry Me A Little, The Light Princess, Mack And Mabel, Parade, Sunset Boulevard)
The show had a "try out" at the Landor Theatre back in March. I wasn't able to get to see it then but have heard wonderful things about it.
