As someone who has never read the book, I thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend, who is obsessed with the book, said that she didn't love it but she didn't hate it.
The concept is interesting, and although the acting is on the level of those "teen" movies, I still genuinely liked it. I loved Jeff Bridges in it (although it was weird seeing him on film after watching The Mirror Has Two Faces a few days ago).
One of the worst movies I've ever seen that was adapted from an amazing source material. I absolutely love the book, and normally I don't have a problem when a movie is different from a book, but this movie missed the spirit of the novel, which is the one thing that must be preserved in adaptations. Surprisingly bad performances all around, even from Jeff Bridges and Meryl Streep with really bad special effects and really just very few redeemable qualities. The underscoring was pretty good, though.

It was ok, but by the time they got to the point, the pay off wasn't worth the wait. But in saying that I loved Streeps hair, that could have been a movie on its own!
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

My Private messages are on. But I have no idea who you are talking about. I have never dated anyone with missing teeth nor have I ever liked anyone with that demo. Maybe you saw me with a friend and her husband who are friends at Subway?
