Posted: 7/29/14 at 2:45pmIn a recent interview at 54 Below, a reporter asked Ms. LuPone if she was planning on returning to Broadway anytime soon,, Patti's response was" There is something in the wind, but can't talk till contracts are signed" Any speculation or info on what she is referring to?

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Actually, I would love if it was something new, like the Waitress in Yellowstone project that was delayed when Gypsy came to Broadway. But I don't want to see her in another half-baked new Mamet piece. At least not for another 35 years.
