Looking at the cast, I'm not sure they've gone "up" from last year. That Jocasta photo is so painfully awkward.

BB got so much free publicity last year and made for good water cooler tv. I wouldn't be surprised if the higher ups wanted another controversial cast. I was almost positive they would have brought back past hamsters for this season after last years fiasco.

I assume CBS vetted the houseguests and made sure they kept some things to themselves when in the house.
and It looks like the racism and homophobia may continue this year.

Exactly the response CBS was hoping.

“You believe in murder? You agree with fags? I guess so but I don’t agree with murdering a innocent baby which he clearly doesn’t mind. Nothin has changed in these last four years. You know it. Your just a democrat that wants that Muslim monkey in office. I’m done with you, your dismissed…

God, to think CBS saw this comment and still cast him..ugh. Just sickening.

Of course they cast him! How else are they going to get people to talk about this mummified show?

I despise Paola.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I guess the producers are big Drag Race fans since they started this season the exact same way. I'm not a fan of this split introduction of the cast.

I don't think I could despise Paola and can only pray that she'll be the first voted off. Frankie Grande wasn't as annoying as I thought he'd be...and I'm kind of attracted to him. Obviously not nearly as much as the perfection that is Cody. I surprisingly like Donny too.

We'll see how these new twists work out but right now it seems overly complicated with the introduction of two HOHs that I'm assuming will have to then compete to determine who actually is HOH.

Clyde, you can have Frankie...annoying! Cody is FINE. But I am rooting for Donny. He came across last night as a really sweet humble nice guy.

Clyde, I found myself liking Frankie more than I thought I would. In general I'm liking this group a lot more than the vile bunch from last season. Paola seems like a breath of fresh air compared to Aaryn!

I think the twists all seem too complicated when piled on top each other like this. The Team America alliance thing is stupid and should be dropped.

The two HOHs is interesting, but then won't there be 4 nominees? Plus the HOHs aren't safe? I don't like that so much. Part of the fun is watching the HOH being all powerful and letting that go to his/her head.

Still, it was great to have Julie back. She was certainly doing some power turning and walking last night!

The Mamma Mia ab workout made me laugh. They seem pretty cool and normal right now.

Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco. Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

Speaking of Cody, I found it really great how affectionate his father was towards him and he to his father. Also why do hot straight guys like Cody always like the girls like Paola? I found of all the women so far, the most attractive was the nursing student. When they showed her without her glasses and her hair up, I thought she was quite pretty. But of course, I'm not a straight guy.

Straight guys are into girls like Paola because they're slutty. The guys aren't looking for anything serious so they aren't looking to make some deep emotional connection.

I do not like a single one of new set of houseguests. Not.a.one.

Jocasta needs to lose the fvcking bow ties. Derrick needs a dose of reality because NO ONE would believe he's a college student. I was reminded of 21 Jump Street and imagine someone saying "you look like a fvcking narc, narc." People like Zach whose plan is to be this despicable villain never do well on BB. Guys like Hayden are so annoying to me and I don't think he's ever actually seen The Rock, Whitney Houston or John Travolta. Caleb definitely seems like a horrible person...but he's still hot as hell.

My mind was blown by the Battle of the Block twist because it adds an entirely different factor into the nominee choice. You're going to want to put in the weaker players so they won't win and you stay safe. I am not a fan of the Team America twist because I hate viewers having a say in the game. That's what ruined the last season of Big Brother Canada for me.

My favorite moment of the night was seeing Cody drooling over Brittany until she dropped the mom bomb and you could practically see his boner deflate.

Can we please stop referring to Frankie Grande as the "Broadway performer?" Hasn't he ONLY ever been in MAMMA MIA?

Caleb is smoking hot!!! He certainly didn't seem to mind giving Frankie a piggyback ride. But I still would like to see Donny go for the win. The look on his face when more people were introduced in the house. He stated, "he couldn't remember the names of the eight that were already in there". Priceless.

What a bunch of pretentious attention whores! There seems to be a few "nice" people, but they will get eaten alive. (I found Frankie to be obnoxious...will they know who I AM?

I don't believe this double HOH twist will last long. There is really no incentive to become HOH. We will probably begin seeing many throwing the competition. So what used to be an important part of the show will soon become dull. Producers will probably eliminate it or add a cash incentive to become HOH.

Yea that HOH thing is so bogus, I think the math works out to be wash because it ends up only being one HOH. I think they are adding more mini-competitions, but this show hasn't had a real "twist" since those twins were on. Essentially 6 people are on the potential block, its not really a "block" any more.

Also how is Team America new? What happens when one person gets dropped? I do like the $5000 mission incentive...though I have a feeling some of those people are getting paid to be on there.
