Hilton Als (The New Yorker) is less enthused; thinks director Mayer's focus is misplaced and that Harris will "grow into" the role as he progresses.

Weird that The New Yorker botched all the pronouns...

I hope when they record the cast album for this, they do what they did for PIPPIN and invite an audience to sing the audience participation portion.
