I am sort of thinking about going to this show when it comes to Woking in July. I am a big fan of some of the TV shows and Theatre shows that Ben Elton the writer of this show has written. I am also a fan of some of the rock musicals that have played in the West End or toured the UK over the last few years. I liked Rod when he was the singer with The Faces.
Should I go and see this show? Is it any good and is this version any good? Updated On: 4/17/14 at 11:23 AM

I went to see the show twice when it was in Southend (I saw both the principal Stu, Ben Heathcote and the alternate, Craig Mather) and despite the fact that I'm not a Rod fan, I enjoyed it immensely. The show is incredibly funny and the cast are all insanely talented. The story is nothing too hard hitting but it proves to be an enjoyable night at the theatre. If you can, try and see the show on a tuesday evening/wednesday matinee as Craig Mather made an excellent Stu!

From what I gather, this current production has been altered from the original West End production and the previous tour but nothing too significant has changed. I hope that this helps :)
