As good as "Child of the Philippines is," it doesn't come anywhere near the many brilliant songs in this show...cannot wait to see this again!

I'm so excited for this cast album. I love the concept album but probably won't be able to see the show, so I can finally hear the songs in their proper contextual settings.

The entire album is available 4/22.

Unfortunately, the release date has been pushed back to May 6! The website said April 22nd just a few days ago. Any ideas why it's delayed? Perhaps so it gets released after opening night?

It's not just "a few days ago" - it still said release was today when I checked yesterday!

Who knows why they've postponed the release, particularly by two weeks. The album's clearly done, after all.

I noticed the BWW article on April 22 mentioning the release and then saw that it said May 6 on itunes and I just figured BWW got it wrong again.
