What else can they can do as a duo and delight us with their never-ending supply of uber-talent and fabulosity?

Eva Peron and Che in EVITA?

How about:

Desiree Armfeldt and Frederik Egerman in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC?

Phyllis Rogers Stone and Ben Stone or Sally Plummer and Buddy Plummer in FOLLIES?

Sally Bowles and Emcee in CABARET?

Mary Poppins and Bert in MARY POPPINS?

Annie and Frank in Annie Get Your Gun

All I know is that Ace is beefing up and that Samson & Delilah picture keeps making me swoon.

I don't really see Ace as Fiyero, but I would love to see Diana Degarmo as Elphaba. Even if she just performed a few of the songs in concert. I just want to know what her voice would sound like with that score.

Diana is incredible. I never thought she had the acting chops but when I saw her as Penny in HAIRSPRAY? It was all over right there. I fell in love. She is so talented. Wishing her and Ace much continued success!

Maybe they can get their own variety show on VH-1: "The Ace & Diana Comedy Hour."

Carlos, do you actually like them or are you mocking? I can never tell Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo: The 'Sonny & Cher' of the theater world.

Marrying Diana has been good for Ace's career. LOL

Maybe they figure the couple that works together stays together. It's a tough industry for relationships. Still, I'm really hoping she manages to get involved with Diner. She did the reading last month and I hope she can be done with "Joseph" in time to have a chance with the Broadway show.

As far as Samson and Delilah, I'm sure Diana sings the **** out of the songs but I have no idea who Ron Yatter is or if he has any business writing songs. Wasn't there a Samson and Delilah musical kicking around back in the 1990's? Anyone?

Diana belting brilliantly

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

There, I fixed your title.

Sonny and Cher sounds like a slam.

@ Liza's Headband: I actually like them. Both separately and individually. I just have a quirky sense of humor that on more than one occasion has rubbed many on here the wrong way.

You get me, you get me. You don't? C'est La Vie.

But yeah, I like them.

This is all in good fun, and I actually like the "Annie Get Your Gun" idea.
