I want to surprise my girlfriend with a stay in a hotel and tickets to a musical, but not sure what to buy....thinking about les mis because we both like the music but before I do that I'm wondering if there is any coming up that might be more exciting and fun. She is more mainstream but she loves Sondheim....I'm a Fringe junkie who doesn't like mainstream stuff...but I'm buying this for her so it has to be broadway and has to be a musical...so please give me anything you can think of that is coming down the pike.....

All starting previews between now and early March. some will officially open by March. It's all a matter of what sounds appealing.

Posted: 12/20/13 at 6:54pmPersonally I think if you want something heart felt and amazing choose If/Then. If you want some fun choose the Alddin/Disney route. Not to say other shows opening won't be just as good. I was just going off Mamma's list. I myself would pick If/Then.

Posted: 12/20/13 at 7:17pmI would pick If/Then. Both times that I've seen it I sat in front of couples and both times they couldn't stop looking at each other during certain parts. It was adorable/annoying. (:

Posted: 12/20/13 at 8:23pmMarch is when a lot of musicals are starting, so it will be challenging to get tickets to them. Les Miserables will be huge, and the tickets are selling very well. I would recommend Cabaret but the majority of the tickets left are very expensive. If money is no object, spring for the good seats. Have a great time!
