I could easily see this going in the Venetian.

The ceiling above the audience already was rigged to fly the giant Phantom chandelier in multiple directions - not just vertical.

I saw Phantom at the Venetian several times. It is a wonderful theater.

The rig was specifically designed to fly the chandelier. It would never work for Spider-Man.

Besides, are any of the working parts still there? I would have assumed they went when Phantom closed.

Wouldn't this going in the Venetian be a bit of a clash? I mean Phantom SORT of fit the theme of the hotel, but Spiderman? I can't picture this show about a superhero fighting crime over the streets of New York City in the middle of a hotel styled after Venice Italy.

Then again, it would be interesting to see this show hit another low when the gondoliers outside the theatre are singing more interesting songs then the ones inside.

this is great news finally we can get rid of such a bad show to get a worst show in King Kong
