Rocky the Musical's opening was removed from the NY Theatre Guide's list of openings and it also has disappeared from the Winter Garden's site. It remains on sale though. Does anyone know if this is still on?
ivandixon2 are you referring the Shubert's website for the Winter Garden? Any other site with "winter garden" in it is a broker site. So is the New York Theatre Guide site.
Look for official sites like telecharge, ticketmaster, etc.

Probably plays into their future marketing strategy, Rocky Germany, Rocky Broadway, Rocky Las Vegas. "The musical" seems to cheapen every film to stage adaptation and they don't want the tourists thinking its a re-release of the movie. Who knows what evil lurks in the minds of Madison Ave types.
I imagine they'll drop the Broadway if it does have international productions and simply call it Rocky or even Rocky a new/hit musical. The Winter Garden does look cool with the new marquee, I've mentioned before that the Winter Garden has been lucky not to have its marquee split unlike The Palace and New Amsterdam,
