Unless I'm mistaken, Jovie, Live Nation are the current owners of the Foxwoods who have just sold it to the Ambassador Group, who have a number of West End theatres under their control. Also, a quick check on Wikipedia shows that a few years back they purchased 16 British theatres from Live Nation UK, which LN had been selling because they "are not core to our live music strategy." So that would suggest the opposite; more theatre in the Foxwoods' future and not more concerts/events.

Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.

I had heard that King Kong was looking for a home and the Foxwoods was the theater they were looking at because of the size. Also Spider man sales not performing as well as expected. Hense the post.

you are right, JNB...in fact the article was wrong and it looks like a correction was made. So I was just stating what I read....
