They may have stopped the booster policy. When we realized what the seat was, I went to speak to the House Manager. He sent me to the box office. There was no offer for a booster.

My partner did try and make peace with the people sitting behind him and asked if they'd mind if he sat on both his and my jackets. This elevated him to his eyes just below stage deck level. They told him when he sat like that they couldn't see anything and asked that he remove the make shift "booster".

ClydeBarrow... I do understand your sentiment and I realize that I am most to blame for keeping this thread going. I was - and often am - taken back at how rude and even mean spirited people can be here. So much so that a while ago I had my account deleted and promised myself to not return here. (Maybe I'm a fool for returning.)

I was offended by gchris11's attitude and his assumptions, all which were false despite his seemingly "in the know" attitude. I think that just fueled my keeping this debate going.

Again, I should focus on the kind words of the posters who have offered them here and in other posts. It pleases me that there are some really cool people out there who offer their humanity and don't see the distance of the Internet as an excuse to be an...

Did you ask for the booster though? I just went to the back of the theater and asked for a booster and without any hesitation they gave it to me. I didn't tell them where I was sitting or why I needed it, and the person behind me (mad as hell most likely) never said anything to me or to an usher (to my knowledge). I am a short guy so maybe the ushers never realized I was sitting on one anyways lol. I have had many frustrating nights at the theater, and I know it was a special night for you. But we got to pick our battles which may be barbarous and bloody in the theater community.
