She also just signed on as the "blonde" spokesperson for John Frieda haircare products as well as just recorded the "Devil Wears Prada" sequel audio book.

She should play Young Belle opposite Christian Borle in Encores' LITTLE ME next season.

That's the best idea yet!!! She'd be killer in that role

Last night at the Paulo Szot concert at Avery Fisher Hall, she sang a killer rendition of "The Man That Got Away" and a beautiful reading of "Too Many Mornings" with Paulo.

I never thought of her as a Sally in Follies, but damn! She was good!

Here she is narrating an excerpt from 'Revenge Wears Prada' and a brief interview.

I'm happy that she's already found another project. But I wonder if this will interfere with her doing the film adaptation of 'Into the Woods'.

Megan seems to be doing concerts too. She just performed with the Houston Symphony. She may be eating into Linda Eder, Barbara Cook , and Idina Menzel's bookings...

This news of her joining the Sean Hayes show makes me so sad. Hilty is an immaculate talent and to lose her from the stage again for this garbage bag of a show (laugh track and all) which won’t even finish out an entire season… Distraught.

iI'm happy that she is finding work post-SMASH. I'd love to see her back on stage, but good for her to book another network TV show! And hopefully she does some concerts in Southern California!

She's hoping to bring 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' to Broadway after she has her child. That'd be great.

I think she would be really good as Sally in Reefer Madness. Maybe off broadway.

I just finished watching anchorman, and if they ever made a broadway musical out of that, she would make the perfect Veronica corningstone haha. Her voice and acting is really similar to Christina applegate

Just saw her in concert down here in ATL, and it was a great, great experience. I could listen to her sing for the rest of my life, and be perfectly happy. Hearing some of the Bombshell songs sung live also made me realize how wonderful it would be if they could turn out a great book and make an actual musical. Those songs are incredible, and deserve to be heard in a musical theatre setting. That Rosemary Clooney cover...jawdroppingly sublime.

She should have gotten an Emmy for "Smash".

Re: Mack and Mabel - she would kill in the role, but the show failed apparently in spite of the great score. The book was a relentless downer and there's nothing that can be done about it.

I saw her in DC the evening of the 2nd. There was such a demand for tickets they added a second show that night. She was wonderful. From where I was sitting, I couldn't understand most of her banter in between numbers though.

There was also a scary fan girl who stood and clapped after every number. As soon as the show ended fan girl bolted from the theatre so she could be first in line to meet Megan Hilty in the lobby. Megan was autographing CDs after the show.

I was rather disappointed with her concert last December in Los Angeles. It felt a lot slicker and less personal than other cabaret performances I have seen. She almost seemed to scoff at singing Popular and didn't get it her all. Mik sure she gets sick of Wicked, but I've seen other actors do a signature song and still make an effort.

Loved her on Smash and she was amazing in Wicked. Hopefulky, it was just an off night.

"but I've seen other actors do a signature song and still make an effort."

But I don't think Popular is her signature song. If she is using it as her signature song, she needs to stop and use one of the songs from Smash, maybe "Just Keep Moving The Line" "Don't Forget Me" or "Let Me Be Your Star" Personally I think she is kick ass on "Just Keep Moving The Line" but if she's going to be like Judy Garland and be singing her signature songs 40 years from now in concerts, she probably should go with "Don't Forget Me" because it will be less wear and tear on her voice in 40 years.

It must have been an off night, because her "Popular" on Saturday was quite funny with a lot of personality. SHe also really got into "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend".

GeorgiaRed, I'm glad to hear that! To be fair, it was right in the midst of the holidays and also right during the time when her sitcom was in limbo. Guess it was just an off night!

All I want for her is to be Lorelei on broadway. Please, it's all I'm asking.
