I'm assuming that "Phantom of the Opera" will have a special performance when it reaches its 25th anniversary on Broadway, on Saturday, January 26, 2013. I've written to the Really Useful Group to find out if ALW is planning anything, and R.U.G. didn't know. I noticed that there are no regular performances scheduled for the weekend of January 26th, so SOMETHING must be in the works. Has anyone heard anything about this milestone?
Trista Moldovan will be leaving the show soon, and I have heard it's partly because they want to bring Sierra Boggess in to be playing Christine when the show hits 25 years.
^^ No, Clap Yo'Hands, Sierra is not the only woman who can play the role... but she IS the best IMO... And she deserves to play Christine at the anniversary performance.

Yes, I would like to see Sierra play Christine finally on Broadway. She has my favorite characterization of her and she is the first one to not make me hate the character. Also then she can finally hang this cloak up for good.
