She seems like a very down to earth person. I saw another talkback recently at a B'way show that shall remain nameless and it seemed like the cast with one exception would have rather been any place else.
Tracie's performance was magnificent but I also saw Nina in Venus in Fur and the Tony voters got it right.
She gives a truly incredible performance in this play, and she is also one of the nicest, most charming people I've ever met at a stage door. All this after giving that performance too!
Being a nice person has nothing to do with winning a Tony.

“I hesitate to give this line of discussion the validation it so desperately craves by perpetuating it, but the light from logic is getting further and further away with your every successive post.” <<>>

She is a very nice person, not missed a performance in 2 1/2 years, and always happy to greet her fans at the Stage Door......not getting the Tony, she was robbed.....
What a lovely interview! Maybe I'll get a chance to see her on tour...whenever that happens? from RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
