Didn't One Man, Two Guvnors tour between playing The National and The Adelphi? If so, would it be successful enough on its second tour?

Yes it did but just a few weeks, it wasn't a full tour. The NT never do full length tours, just select venues. The new tour will go out now with all the success of the London production behind it but may prove a bit of a hard sell without the original casting of Mr Corden.
I'm intrigued to see One Man, Two Guvnors without James Corden et al to see if it really is an excellent production that stands up on its own or was so good because it was superbly cast
