I'm curious to know if anyone has seen any other understudies in for some supporting roles. Has Kevin David Thomas been on for Hunter? If not, does anyone know when he will be on? PM me if you want. Also would love to hear how Betsy as the countess or erin is as anne...reviews anyone? Def would like to see Kevin on as Henrik though...

I think Hunter has only been out once. Temporary swing/vacation cover Matt Dengler also covers the role when he is there.

I don't think Davie or Larkin have missed a performance - frankly I'm not sure how many of the leads have ever been out. This has been a very solid cast attendance wise.

Larkin missed a few performances early in the run. Marissa McGowan, who is no longer with the company, stepped in as Petra.

Davie hasn't missed.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

It's so strange to commend actors for not missing performances. I know if I missed a day of work, there would be hell to pay.

I don't know where you work, Yankee but that sounds hellish...

A lot of actors in this day and age obviously don't take their performance obligations seriously so it is to be commended when you see an entire company committed to their work (and its a Sondheim show on Broadway, why wouldn't they be).

I'd be curious to see reviews of understudies for Ann, Petra, and Henrik. Kudos to Davie! If I remember correctly, she was only out from GG once, and it was solely to give her standby the chance to go on.
