That's no one's business but theirs! Jesus. Let people have their private lives!

I've heard from mutual friends that they are, but you sure don't see them bringing a boyfriend to the Oscars, you know?

You better watch your filthy mouth, JoeKv! They have the RIGHT TO A PRIVATE LIFE. It's insulting. It's slanderous!

Just leave them alone. They are people! Not some sort of circus act!

haha guys Newsies Doozies!

I don't think they are available. If they are Musical Theater International would have them since they have all the rights to disney shows.

No one has the right to know Phyllis.

Even Phyllis doesn't know herself.

Phyllis, you need to know yourself.

In the biblical sense.

Go know thyself. Seriously.

Are the rights really not available? I swear I see advertisements for school productions all the time.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

It's a little frightening, but almost every chorus boy I know wants to be in this show (if a stage version does in fact exist, or will exist.)

I could actually see it working onstage, with some rewrites. The movie wasn't unspeakable, just problematic. However, if I hear one more whiny "Santa Fe" rendition at auditions...

"I could actually see it working onstage, with some rewrites"

Apparently Disney is working it for the stage, keeping the music and rewriting the book
Im actually really excited for this!

Am I the only human being that didn't like this?

I saw it after a huge number of my students raved on and on about it: and I was far from impressed.

I wasn't impressed, either, but it was a perfectly good idea and some of the music was fine. It just had that Disney family-movie glaze...
