Well, it's almost that time again. I've had a blast for the last 20 years hob knobbing for a good cause. Only at the Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS Annual Flea Market can you see Sir Ian McKellan sitting next to a soap star Michael E. Knight chatting away. I've had the thrill of giving reverence to The Redgraves, babbling to BeBe and chatting with Chita. This year I hope they pull away Carrie Fisher, John Stamos and Gina Gershon from rehearsals. I hope Allison Janney is still in town by then. Of course having Gandolfini, Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig would cause pandemonium. Who's on your wishlist?

Everyone you mentioned plus Bebe Neuworth from The Addams Family and Maxim C. from Burn the Floor. (He's celebrity enough in my book! LOL)

Maksim will be back in L.A. for Dancing With the Stars by then. He and Karina are only in BURN THE FLOOR until August 16th.

I count Bebe Neuwirth as a celebrity. I would love to see her there.

Sienna Miller, Jude Law, Julia Stiles, and Bill Pullman will all be in performances by then (or about to start performances), in addition to the people you listed, so they are likely to be there.

Damn. I just don't have time to see Burn the Floor and would have really liked to see him at the Flea Market. Boo.

Julia Stiles, though. Big yes on that. And, it's silly, but I've adored Bill Pullman since I saw "Spaceballs" when I was like 7. LOL

To be honest, he and Karina aren't the best dancers in the company, although they have a presence and charisma that some of the others don't. I'm very excited for Pasha and Anya from So You Think You Can Dance replacing them.

I agree that having the God Of Carnage cast there would be practically impossible. Maybe the two ladies, but I don't think Daniels and Gandolfini will be there. Same for Jude Law, Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig.

Wasn't it very unorganized last year? Can you imagine what it would be like with those celebrities there? No thanks.

Not sure about Bill Pullman and John Stamos, but it would be great if they were there. Also: Gavin Creel, the 9 To 5 ladies and Raul Esparza. If I were them, I'd also offer to get your picture taken with the whole N2N family. $$ guaranteed!

I've always wanted a 'creative team' table: Songwriters, playwriters, designers, directors.

Sondheim alone would cause more excitement than every other performer combined.

(Two years ago, Edward Albee sat at a table autographing his latest memoirs and - sadly - very few people stopped by)

I met Edward Albee a few years ago ago at a function at my school and had him sign my copy of 'The Goat'. I was definitely pretty starstruck to be in the presence of such a legend.

I would love to see Bill Pullman. He's been in several of my favorite movies...Spaceballs, Newsies, While You Were Sleeping...

And I've always admired Carrie Fisher's wit and talent.

They did the [tos] gang last year in the photo booth...$40 for everyone

I saw Seth Rudetsky there last year at the table where they were selling his books. He was only there for a couple of minutes and was signing a bunch of copies for them to sell.

Weren't a bunch of cast members from In the Heights there too and weren't they all in the photo booth together at one time? I hadn't seen In the Heights back then so I didn't care at the time, but I would've loved to take a picture with all of them now.

Bebe Neuwirth is a huge supporter of BCEFA and has been at the table many many times but this year with the "The Addams Family" beginning performances in Chicago in November, she might be too busy or out of town by then.

I saw him as well. He asked me how to spell my name and when I told him he said "Chenostyle!" and even wrote that in my book.

I went! I think the problem is that no one knew about it. I only knew when they announced it at the auction and I ran over.

It was amazing to get a photo with such a legend.

Well, since all of them - Megan, Stephanie, and Allison - will still be in the city even though 9 to 5 will be closed by then, it can happen. They are all performing at Feinstein's on Monday the 28th, so maybe they'll have time to stop by the flea market the day before. Maybe at least Stephanie will since she has participated at the flea market in the past. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for all 3 of them though.

I'm hoping (and pretty sure) that the cast of the celebrity table's next door neighbor (Next To Normal) will be there.

I would definitely pay $40 for a picture with Alice, Robert, Jennifer and Aaron (who will be back from CMIYC by then).

As for Bebe Neuwirth, she's doing a show at The Flea starting October 1. Considering her past with the BCEFA Flea Market Celebrity Table, I'm sure she'll be there.

I wish Laura Linney's show was in previews by then...

I hope the table is better than last year and more like two years ago when they had Ian McKellen, the Redgraves, Bernadette Peters, Donna Murphy, Brian Stokes Mitchell, etc. That was epic.

You and me both, TheActr97J. I would have loved for both Laura and Alicia to be there. I will happily settle for any of the cast members of The Royal Family (the show playing the Freidman right before Time Stands Still), particularly Stephen Collins and John Glover.

Laura Linney was there in 2005, in fact it was the weekend her picture "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" opened at number one in the box office. While she could have been elsewhere promoting the movie, she chose to come to the Flea market. She was lovely and I got my "Love Actually" DVD signed and my friend had her sign "Mystic River".

Now that "Ugly Betty" is in town and last year Michael Urie came, perhaps we can get Vanessa Williams and Judith Light.
