It is quite possible and they probably see no reason to make another press release. So I guess we will see on opening night! I have my tickets for Sunday and I am very excited!
Broadway.com typically does a bunch of interviews from the Bowl before the show opens, so we shall see something this week for it opens.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. https://www.broadwayworld.com/videoplay/BWW-TV-In-Rehearsal-with-the-One-Singular-Sensational-Cast-of-A-CHORUS-LINE-at-the-Hollywood-Bowl-20160728 I saw the video in its entirety. Wow, I never knew Robert Fairchild was so tall. Krysta Rodriguez was lovely. J. Elaine Marcos plays Connie. I was surprised when she said she couldn't do the role on an extended basis. Mario Lopez was not there, it seemed at that moment. Maybe a swing was covering for him momentarily. Loved to see Leigh Zimmerman as Sheila. Whoever is lucky to see this production in L.A., please let us know how it went.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
the Hollywood Bowl typically casts u/s for the leads. Nice coverage from BWW. Thanks for posting!

I remember they put him visible standing in front of the stage in the aisle and ON stage for part of the Cassie scene. Completely took away from the feeling of Cassie being alone, isolated, and vulnerable. She was now just having a spat with an ex.
Oh that sounds awful. I feel that totally takes away from the dancers feeling isolated and instead of making Zach this detached person observing the events, this makes him apart of the events instead of making him an observer
Yes, apparently due to Mario's demands and to show their star off, he was on stage a lot more than the disrmbodied voice the role usually is. He also got to lead the fantasy, all cast "One" finale instead of Paul. Of course there was the thing about the costumes too (after a few performance he traded in the classic costume for a tank top to show off his arms and Nick Adams, who had replaced Tyler Hanes as Larry, suddenly had a new costume with a hoodie or something to hide his arms--Reudel had a field day gossiping about this and Looez' poor behaviour in general like missing entrances, talking on his cell in the lobby when not on stage, etc, it's too bad they asked him to do this).
He wore a very tight brown polo when I saw the show, not a tank. I can't say anything about backstage drama, but i saw him from standing room go make calls in the lobby/box office area, text from his Zach mic seat, and do situps and push ups on the stairs.
Yeah I don't remember the details except that suddenly he had the more revealing/tight costume and Adams didn't so I am sure you're right. Surely all the behaviour you mention was just him getting into character ??
I'm going tonight as well. I'm beyond excited and I know I will cry multiple times. The score is amazing. Most of all, I'm most excited about seeing Jason Tam. I've seen and cried over his audition video hundredths of times. I'm bringing some binoculars... (about time lol) Hope everyone going has a great time
There's so much bad stuff to say about Lopez's Zach, but I won't. But I'd also love a full report!!

Well I will definitely leave everything they changed and all of my thoughts down on here. Of course I am sue videos will surface on YouTube as it happens every year. I hope you get to see it in some form because judging by your screen name, you are a big ACL fan.
there's always video posted on YouTube of any show done at the Hollywood Bowl, so I'm not worried.
