Announced earlier today, Everyman Theatre and Foreman Wolf Restaurants' upcoming wine and food festival - Vino Festa - will now include an incredible line-up of performers to be featured throughout the event. The previously announced Baltimore soul sensation Bosley will be featured throughout the event, as well. Vino Festa will take place on Saturday, April 5th beginning at 6:30pm. All festivities will take place at Everyman Theatre.

"Pop-up performances" will take place by the line-up of performers throughout the party. "We want you to be enjoying a glass of wine when all of the sudden a Shakespearean sword-fight breaks out in the middle of the crowd!" said Everyman's Artistic Director Vincent Lancisi. "No guest will have the same exact experience as another person. You might enjoy several Italian arias and Spanish guitar playing, or you might dance all night to the music of Bosley. It all depends on what you want to see and how you want to enjoy your night!"

Six top-notch cabaret performers will entertain the crowds with various styles of music and performance. The singers include Jamie Zemarel (of the Capitol Steps), Erin Gardiner (star of Ford's recent hit, Violet), Sherri Edelen (star of Signature Theatre's Gypsy), Mattie Botteri (musical theatre performer), Steven Walker (singer/guitarist) and Melissa Wimbish (classical soprano).

Classical guitarist Rich Barry will also be featured throughout the event. He has recently captivated audiences and critics alike with notable performances in London, Paris, Toronto, and Boston.

The DC-based Comedia dell'Arte troupe Faction of Fools will also be featured as roaming performers throughout the party. The company aims to preserve and promote the specialized Renaissance theatre style. Matthew Wilson is the Founding Artistic Director of the troupe.

Local painter Jeffrey Kent will actually create a painting throughout the course of the evening, using the surroundings and guests as inspiration for the piece. The artwork will be auctioned at the end of the party.

Everyman's Resident Fight Choreographer Lewis Shaw will be joined by four swordsmen to create fantastic duals amidst the crowds. Expect fights to breakout in the middle of the lobby or even on the bridge above the bar area!

Vino Festa will transform Everyman Theatre into an Italian festival of wine and food made irresistible by a custom menu from Tony Foreman of Foreman Wolf Restaurants. Guests will wander the rooms of Everyman's new home to find signature Italian dishes alongside the finest wines of the region and delicious pastries. The ticket price is $100 per person in advance; tickets at the door will be $125.

Tony Foreman is co-owner of Baltimore's premier restaurant company, Foreman Wolf, which is comprised of six award-winning restaurants and two retail wine stores: Charleston, Petit Louis Bistro in Roland Park, Cinghiale, Johnny's, Petit Louis Bistro on the Lake in Columbia, Bin 604 Wine Sellers and Bin 201 Wine Sellers.

Tickets for Vino Festa are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting www.everymantheatre.org/vinofesta. Proceeds from the event will support Everyman's mission to create affordable and accessible theatre.
