Bay City Players will hold auditions for its upcoming musical production, Guys and Dolls, a Musical Fable of Broadway based on a Story and Characters of Damon Runyon with Music and Lyrics by Frank Loesser and Book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, on Saturday, January 8th at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 9th at 6:00 p.m.
Auditions will be held at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City.

Performance dates April 28-May 1 and May 5-8, 2011

Directed by Mike Wisniewski Musical Direction by Carol Baranic

Choreography by Lore Ayotte, Rebecca Fournier and Suzanne MacKenzie

Parts available:

18 men's roles to look 20 and up

15 women's roles to look 20 and up

THE PLOT: Guys-taking a chance on the dice. Dolls-taking a chance on the guys. You-taking no chance on this All-American musical GUYS AND DOLLS, a Broadway favorite with crooks, chorus girls and the Salvation Army all making nice with each other. Sensational music. Snappy dancing. Sassy comedy. Sheer delight from Frank Loesser, Abe Burrows, and Jo Swerling.

Bring the Kids 8 and Older

Auditions are open to the public and newcomers are welcome. Those auditioning will be asked to sing, dance and read selections from the script. Also bring your calendar and be prepared to communicate any scheduling conflicts.
