Based on 16 hours of recorded conversation, delivered as a response to a simple question - "Can you tell me your life story?" - Life and Times translates a life to stage, verbatim, in an exuberant, monumental blend of music, theatre, dance, installation art, gesture, symbol and sound.

Each of the four ‘episodes' of Life and Times stands alone, a discrete marvel of theatrical ingenuity and invention to be enjoyed in isolation. Viewed together, they form an ambitious, spellbinding journey through a life-so-far.

Showing during the Festival both as individual episodes and in its entirety as one marathon ten-hour performance (complete with BBQ dinner and snacks), this is performance on a scale rarely attempted, and even more rarely achieved: a transcendent, pulverising, poignant and hilarious hymn to the mystery, the pain and the impossible richness of being alive.
