Swedish singer/songwriter Kristian Matsson, known to the world as The Tallest Man On Earth brings his powerful live show of the same name to the Concert Hall, Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) for one night only on Wednesday 7 December 2016

Towering above his contemporaries as one of today's most humbling and evocative songwriters, his soulful lyrics and experienced fingerpicking are a perfect marriage, conjuring up vast landscapes and narrative histories that remain with audiences long after the encore.

Returning to Australia in 2016 with a stunning five-piece band, this marks Matsson's first visit to Australia since 2013, when he sold out the Sydney Opera House and gracefully plucked heartstrings nationwide with his intimate solo shows.

It is The Tallest Man On Earth's commanding stage presence that makes the show much more than just listening to his records. Matsson never misses a beat; his intricate guitar strumming perfectly complementing achingly raw vocals.

Shouldering universal acclaim from his 2015 album Dark Bird Is Home, a work that pays real tribute to the old records audiences fell for while going to new places they love.

The Tallest Man On Earth promises to make his presence felt when he brings his soul-searching live show to QPAC this December. Tickets are on sale now via qpac.com.au or call 136 246.

Support act to be announced closer to the event.
