In 1987, Annie sits alone on her toilet waiting to see if her life will change forever.
Will Annie's possible pregnancy ruin her career in the exhilarating CD-ROM data management industry? Will she have to move back in with her hippy mother? Just how exclusive are these mother's clubs, anyway?
Carly Milroy is one of Melbourne's most promising up-and-coming playwrights, comedic improvisers and actors. Having cut her teeth as part of the Monash Law Revue in 2012, the Performing Arts graduate played Sally Brown in Boutique Theatre Company's DOG SEES GOD before writing and performing in POST-POST (Melbourne Fringe 2014). Most recently Milroy delivered a "skilled and versatile" performance in the ensemble sketch show LEGENDS.
Explains Milroy:
"PEE STICK is set in a domestic toilet, but essentially the story takes place inside Annie's wild imagination. Her life is possibly about to change forever, as she shares with the audience how a baby might affect her career and relationships.
"I play a range of weird and colourful characters. The show is a lot of fun but I think it also taps into some familiar, neurotic feelings lots of women have experienced at some point.
